The places between dreams and reality.

It is always there, and it comes when you least expect it.

The haunting sting of the real mixed with the fog of your mind.

It hurts the worst.

I'm never sure what I am seeing, what I will wake to?

I saw you didn't I?

I Heard your voice and felt your touch.

Are you dead yet?

I think not for, 

I saw your foot twitch.

Are you gone yet?

No, I think not,

I saw you toss and turn.

Have you left yet?

I'm not convinced so,

I heard you give a cough

I try to think not.
