I'm not sure if this is a poem or not, but I am certain that it is in fact something.
A Word on the Dead
The dead can haunt you,
and yes it is fun for
them.
They can hold a grudge,
and they won't let you
forget it.
They can let you know that
they are there,
but they won't.
They can say hello if they
wish, but they often don't.
They will, when required,
comfort you,
and when not required they
will provoke you.
They can walk with you,
talk with you and teach you.
They can remind you to
remember them,
and when it is necessary
they will let you forget.
They will laugh with you,
they will cry with you.
But they will never leave
you, never forget you.
Even if you have to forget
them for a while.
